Responsibilities

The Market Finance Analyst/Professional 2 works with Actuary, MRA, Corporate Finance, Clinical and Market Point internally and Providers/Hospitals/Ancillary externally to drive optimization inclusive of activities spanning decisions required for day-to-day operations to strategic planning and addressing specific business performance issues across matrixed organization and fostering key relationships with business stakeholders. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives.


Reconcile provider payments
Provide financial analysis for contract negotiations
Advise external providers on utilization performance
Report on trends and utilization metrics
Audits rate loads and providers within service fund


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
2 years of technical experience in analytics
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates
Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications


MBA
Previous healthcare experience
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of pivot tables and look-up functions (Excel) and building queries (Access)

Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Work-At-Home Requirements


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
