Description:
The role of the Market Insight Analyst offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the success of the institution. Based in the Planning & Analytics Office (PAO) at the heart of the University, our work helps the organisation achieve its strategic ambitions by ensuring colleagues have the in-depth understanding of the market they need to make the best possible decisions. You will play a key role supporting pre-planning insight preparation activities, portfolio development, competitor benchmarking and student experience surveys. The work will be varied and interesting, such as analysing a variety of data sources to uncover market trends or opportunities for developing our course portfolio, performing desk-based research to identify best practice at other institutions, or conducting applicant surveys. As well as being curious with an inquisitive disposition, experience and skills in working with data sets to draw out insights are important, as well as having a strong focus on detail and accuracy. You will need to be a strong communicator, and be able to identify and convey key messages and recommendations using a variety of insight sources to stakeholders. You’ll be working and supported by an enthusiastic team, where team work is very important, whether that’s within team colleagues or colleagues acrosss the organisation. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. If you think you fit this description, we would love to hear from you.
