The Business Analyst provides a vital link between the Human Resources function in the Benefits Delivery and Administration (BDA) segment and the corporate functions to ensure that the HR records for BDA colleagues and contingent workers in Oracle HR Cloud are accurate.
The Role
The Business Analyst will work closely with the HR subject matter experts (SMEs) and end users to understand the BDA business processes as they relate to seasonal hires, internal transfers and total compensation. Additionally, the Business Analyst will perform data analysis and reporting as required to support existing HR, Finance and Payroll systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Mass Updates to HR records – Processes high volumes of salary changes, monthly/seasonal bonuses and updates to assignment records into Oracle HR Cloud based on payroll and project deadlines.
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Performs data collection and analysis as needed from multiple sources to ensure data integrity. Works collaboratively with the business to identify and resolve data quality and system interface issues. Works with HR and Payroll to design and develop data quality assurance processes and tools.

The Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience working with HR systems such as Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS
• Ability to perform data analysis. This includes the ability to run reports, merge data from different sources based on one or more common fields (SSN, Employee ID, etc.), and to analyse the data to identify trends, outliers, inconsistencies, gaps, etc.
• HR Content knowledge
• Technology skills – fluency with technology applications such as MS Excel
• Critical thinking
• Planning, organizing & project management skills
• Customer & relationship management skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
