Job Description SourceOne, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Veolia, is a national energy management company providing services and support to commercial, industrial and public sector organizations. SourceOne serves all vertical markets including commercial real estate, healthcare, higher education, government, data centers, biotech, financial institutions, industrial/manufacturing and power generation companies. For these entities SourceOne provides energy related due diligence, power master planning, and infrastructure development services including energy project evaluation, planning and project management.  Working with industry leading clients, SourceOne, Inc. has completed many successful co-generation, central plant and renewable energy projects.

SourceOne’s Energy Management division provides Energy data analytics and meter data management services to various clients. SourceOne, Inc. maintains over 30,000 meter points in which the team of Energy Analysts are responsible for monitoring and billing on a monthly basis.

SourceOne, Inc. is actively seeking an energetic and self-motivated professional to join our Energy Management Optimization team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly reporting to Director, Optimization Services

Develop customized reporting in Tableau and Telerik using energy data and a variety of other data sources 

Gathering and consolidating data from varied sources

Influence and guide energy reporting strategy by collecting customer feedback and providing insights to internal stakeholders

Lead customer workshops to collect feedback and guide custom report design 

Actively optimize and improve Tableau server performance in conjunction with vendor and internal devops resources 

Fielding inquiry requests and managing problem resolution for customer energy monitoring issues

Collect and organize various energy data sources, develop analysis into processes and code using various tools such as Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and improve existing processes

Qualifications Education/Experience

BS/BA in Business, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline

Data Analytics certification preferred

2 years of Tableau experience required

Advanced SQL skills required

Telerik reporting experience preferred 

Energy related experience preferred

Advanced PC and Microsoft Office skills 

Strong analytical/problem solving skills required

Languages: R, Python, or MATLAB preferred

Knime experience preferred

Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills

High level of professionalism and integrity
