Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Claims Strategy) solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
Where you Come In
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Claims Strategy) describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information.
Build methodologies and predictions by modeling data to identify and measure anomalies in claims payments across enterprise
Determine process solutions that integrate with software such as MS Teams and Power Platform
Participate in advanced automation efforts for procedural organization tasks.
Partner with analytics, IT and business areas across the organization.
Transcribe system connectivity and task workflow for broad departmental consumption.
Maintain a 360 degree view of Payer industry in regards to technological consistency
Advise the team and senior leaders on how to best capitalize on data insights, and they will help drive improvement in provider and member experience

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed
Bachelor's degree
5 years of data analysis, having worked comprehensively in analytic tools such as SAS, Python, R and other open source programming.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and MS Power Platform ( Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate )
Experience working with large data populations, specifically with global or national level healthcare payer claims
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Knowledge of iRPA (Intelligent Robotic Process Automation) products such as Automation Anywhere and the capabilities of such products
Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems
Experience with Humana wide data population
Experience with tools such as PowerBI for creating data visualizations
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Experience with programming algorithms and evaluations based on probabilities and statistics
Additional Information
The hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
This will be a remote/work at home position, but may require going in to the office as needed, once it is determined safe to return to onsite locations
Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
