Role Purpose
To analyse and interpret data trends and patterns by providing insights and recommendations for business decisions through the use of data analysis techniques, data reporting, and data governance. Additionally, to ensure the integrity and security of the data warehouse and contribute to the success of the business through continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the data plan in conjunction with the service operation manager and other stakeholders and shared services.
Provide guidance and insights on data topics as needed by the business.
Assist in the implementation of applicable data and system changes to the fund
Manage the day-to-day relationship with suppliers/vendors and ensure the meeting of services as per the contract.
Identify and manage necessary changes to data governance to ensure relevance and adherence by stakeholders.
Consult with reporting and analytic tool provider to resolve ad-hoc data and reporting issues and queries.
Experience & Skills
At least 1 - 3 years commercial experience in data/information analysis.
Tertiary degree in a IT, business or related discipline (preferred).
Data governance concepts, including storage and integrations.
Superannuation and regulatory regimes and requirements thereof.
Data Report building experience (Tableau preferred).
Strong organisation and planning skills.
Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks in a structured manner and enlist project management techniques.
Advanced level within data analytical applications, including writing SQL’s.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
