Position Summary:
As a member of the firm’s pricing team, the Pricing Analyst will work closely with attorneys and professional staff across the firm to assist with the pricing of RFPs, prepare and provide client requested reports and data, and develop and track new client agreements. This position will also assist in establishing best practices and operational procedures in collaboration with the pricing team as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with attorneys to create rate cards when required by RFPs
Assists in the data gathering and analysis for regular client reviews and presentations
Assists in the collection and organization of department statistical data as needed
Collaborates with Financial Report Developers to improve department reports to increase efficiency
Works closely with billing department to ensure proper set-up of new rate agreements
Maintains and updates information related to current rate deals and client deadlines
Supports pricing team with budget development, benchmarking, and data analytics projects as needed
Skills & Competencies:
High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
Ability to assess management needs and craft innovative solutions to meet specific firm and client objectives
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation
Position also requires the ability to meet strict, often conflicting deadlines, and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or similar quantitative focus
Entry-level position with no previous experience required
Technical / Scripting experience a plus: SQL, SSRS, Python, PowerBI, Prompt Engineering preferred
Exceptional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, other formulas, macros)
High degree of comfort using and learning new computer software
