Business Data Analyst Jobs description
A business data analyst job entails collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to prepare statistical and analytical reports. A data analyst provides research and data analysis for key business initiatives of a company.Other important day-to-day duties of a business data analyst include conducting research and data manipulation, selecting correct methods for retrieving and analyzing data, developing reports and presentations, performing business requirements analysis and documentation, working with internal and external clients to document all data-related functions to successfully meet business needs, and ensuring reliable data is available to create reports. Conducting market research, monitoring and analyzing established databases, and synthesizing data into actionable information may also be part of a business data analyst job.
For a business data analyst job, a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business or a related field. Prior experience of data analysis is important. An ideal candidate should also possess good analytical and organizational skills and excellent communication and computer (Excel, Access, and SQL) skills. Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to develop reports is also desirable.
